Work Life

Neil joined Reynolds Colman Bradley LLP in November 2020 bringing with him over 30 years’ experience working in the London insurance market. During this time Neil spent 12 years as a broker with Minet/Aon and Alfred Blackmore (now Lockton’s) and, since 2001, in claims handling and management roles with Independent Insurance Company/Capita PLC, Fishburns LLP/DWF LLP, RPC LLP and most recently with Kennedys.

Since 2005 Neil has worked within the Third Party Administrator sector, starting as a Senior Claims Handler, dealing with claims against a range of professions including all construction professionals, accountants, solicitors, media consultants, independent financial advisers and increasingly from various miscellaneous professionals. This developed in 2012 when Neil took on the Claim Manager and Operations role at Fishburns LLP.  Following the merger with DWF LLP Neil was responsible for the operational efficiency, quality oversight, resourcing, allocation and financial management of the DWF LLP Professional Indemnity claims team.

In 2018 Neil moved to RPC where he led their Claims Handling Department in Bristol before taking up a Client Development Manager position with Kennedys Law LLP in 2019.

Having worked in both the Broker and Insurer/Third Party Administrator claims handling sectors Neil fully understands the requirements, and difficulties, encountered in each of these roles. Neil is used to working closely with insurers on direct or via MGA facilities in order to provide a seamless service to the policyholder in what can often be a stressful and time consuming experience for them.
