Bilal is a recognised and market leading sports insurance lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in this sector, having advised on some high-profile insurance disputes and claims across various sports to include Football, (elite & professional men’s and women’s), Rugby (elite and international level both codes), Motorsport to include FIA /ACU sanctioned and permitted events, circuit racing, rallying and special events, Boxing, Rowing, Pro Cycling and Athletics. He has developed a unique and class leading sports practice working closely with Insurers, underwriters, brokers, National Governing Bodies, Management and Rights holders, Clubs, Teams, Player unions and associations, individual Players and Drivers. Bilal has been involved in the development of concussion, safety and insurance in sports and was instrumental in establishing insurance cover for grass roots Football working closely with insurers and the FA as well as leading and advising on the concussion group litigation in Rugby.
