Tyla is 3 years PQE and joined RCB in February 2023 from a market firm where she trained and worked for 7 years. She has experience working in personal injury (dealing largely in public and employers’ liability, large loss and the Package Travel Regulations). She qualified in 2019 into Professional Indemnity and has since dealt with a wide range of cases, including construction, product liability and other professional negligence cases both as a claims handler and dealing with litigation through to trial.
Tyla has worked on a wide range of professional negligence cases, including fire engineers (cladding cases), structural engineers, construction, waterproofing, barristers and solicitors’ negligence.
She also has experience working on coverage issues, including medical negligence and investigating complex policy issues surrounding multiple policies in catastrophic incidents as well as advising on business interruption cases during the Covid 19 Pandemic.
Tyla was promoted to Associate Solicitor in August 2023.
